Welcome to ACCWPA!

Air Conditioning Contractors of Western Pennsylvania (ACCWPA) is a non-profit trade association of service to the independent heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) contractors.

ACCWPA's objectives have been to promote and protect the interest and welfare of the HVACR industry, its members and the public which it serves.

In doing so, its members maintain the highest ethical standards of selling, advertising, pricing, installation, and service guided by the principles of honesty and integrity. While competing in our free enterprise system, the members of ACCWPA share certain goals and aspirations designed to improve the quality of service provided to the American people.

Whats Happening at ACCWPA

Apprenticeship Training

Registration is open for the ACCWPA Apprentice Program

Registration Eligibility for 1st year classes.
Fall 2024 to Spring 2025
ACCWPA's classes will start
September 9th

Rosedale Technical College (RTC) -
Monday and Wednesday Days

This is a four-year program that combines 8000 hours of classroom and lab training with 8,000 hours of On-the-Job Training, (OJT). Upon completion, the successful student will be awarded an ACCWPA Diploma, a PA State Journeyman's certificate if your company you work for is registered with the PA Dept. of Labor, attain an EPA (608) certification, OSHA 10 certification and NATE core and NATE AC/HP certification.

Who We Are

ACCWPA and its members work with the Department of Energy (DOE), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and state and local agencies on formulating energy programs and policies.

ACCWPA and its members stay in touch with the local utility companies on issues that affect the consumer.

ACCWPA and its members work with local and state agencies concerned with licensing and inspections to maintain consumer safety and satisfaction.

ACCWPA and its members participate in a program designed to rapidly locate defective products introduced to the market place, so corrective action may be taken without delay to avoid cost and inconvenience to the consumer.

ACCWPA furnished to its members a technical and management library unequaled in the HVACR industry.

ACCWPA and its members work with local and state educational organizations in an effort to insure a steady influx of trained people in order to provide the consumer with the quality service they deserve.
